Drama Lessons

How we look, sound and act in front of others determines how we are perceived in both our personal and professional lives. Drama teaches children how to project their voice, portray various characters and perform in front of audiences. They gain presentation skills, learn the importance of movement and body language and become better communicators. Lesson activities, exercises and reading literature instil confidence, understanding and clarity of speech.

Pre Prep Department

In these classes the children acquire language skills and expression and clarity. They develop confidence and self-esteem through performing arts activities such as storytelling, mime, movement, poetry, puppetry and costume.

For those children wishing to go beyond the curriculum I offer Speech and Drama lessons as an optional extra. The children taking these lessons have the opportunity to prepare for Victoria College Examinations and to showcase their work to parents and friends at various times throughout the year.
